The M1 Abrams is the main battle tank of the US Army and the US Marine Corps. It is named after General Creighton Abrams, former Army Chief of Staff and the commander of the 37th Armored Battalion. It is over 32 feet long, capable of speeds of over 40 miles per hour and carries a crew of four.
