Planning a field trip?
The General George Patton Museum offers a wide range of field trips for students. Not sure which field trip is right for you? Check out our growing list of educational field trips with pre and post visit lesson plans. Contact us and let us help you plan your field trip. Directions, maps and lesson plan extensions are all available to help make your field trip a success! Field trips can be booked online using our group visit form or by contacting (502) 624-6350 or emailing us.

A visit will take approximately 1-2 hours. It is preferred that you book three weeks ahead in order to secure the appropriate guides. The program is free but a $20.00 donation by check to the Patton Museum Foundation is always appreciated.

There is a picnic area directly behind the museum for students to use but an inclement weather location for eating brown bag lunches can be provided within the museum.

Buses may park in the parking lot directly off 31W and vistors can walk to the museum without entering Fort Knox. For buses with visitors requiring wheelchairs, we advise the bus to enter Fort Knox using the Brandenburg Gate. Valid ID will be required for admisison onto post. For directions while on post to the museum please call 502-624-6350 or email.

The General George Patton Museum is wheelchair accessible.
