Collection of material taken from the office of Mr. Falcovich, who worked for the Directorate of Combat Developments (later the Directorate of Force Development) at Fort Knox KY. Much of this is material concerning the development, evaluation, and adoption of equipment for the Armored Force/Armor Branch from 1945 – 1990. It includes the various reports of War Department Equipment Boards, as well as books, manuscripts and files from various entities concerning Armor and its development.

Fonda Collection .5 linear feet
PFC Jay C. Fonda, Medical Detachment, 1st Trench Mortar Battalion, AEF 1918 – 1919. Single scrapbook in poor condition containing maps, newspaper/magazine clippings, photographs, official orders, passes, letters, drawings and a copy of A Battery, 1st Trench Mortar Battalion history. There are also several artifacts. The book was put together by the soldier for his sons in 1930. Artifacts include several US collar devices, French military buttons, a small silk US flag, his paybook, 2 - I Corps Shoulder patches, Trench bomb shoulder devices, Red Cross pins and Brassard (SN 42877) and a handkerchief with flags printed on it.
