THE ELDERT COLLECTION


William Eldert (shown in his wedding photo above) served with the 658th Tank Destroyer Battalion. In 1944 the unit was converted and re-designated as the 658th Amphibious Tractor Battalion. William Eldert served in the Pacific Theater.
